All things
There was no fridge in the room.
-
we found sen restaurant to dine in 500 feet from the hotel. 20 minutes' ride to the airport. a useful base for exploring berlin. location, an easy walk to all attractions.
-
The perfect location for the price. Within walking distance of friedrichstrasse. You can eat at Goodtime, which is set 500 feet away from the property. Honestly no complains at all:)))
Was all great.

Motel One by itself is a minimalist concept created for business and travel. I like it a lot and the services provided are completely in accordance for the scope.

I've stayed in Motel One in Alexander Platz before and thought it was great. I enjoyed Spittelmarkt even more. The rooms are all you need, extremely comfortable. Great air-conditioning which I needed and with the windows closed I could hear absolutely nothing. It's only a few stops from Alexanderplatz. The s-bahn was literally just outside the door which meant I could get to everything I wanted to see and visit in no time at all. There was wifi and fantastic lounge area. The breakfast area was beautifully bright. For breakfast, there was everything under the sun, and it was quality not just quantity. At 7.50 euro it was fantastic value. What I liked most of all was the attitude of the staff. Very professional but also extremely friendly and helpful. Do not be put off by the fact that it has a two star rating. It is well above, what you would expect from two stars. I thoroughly recommend this hotel. On top of everything else it's great value.
-
Clean with a Modern design, located right next to u bahn station.
Lack of space at peak breakfast times, also no one checked your room number, so I am convinced there were guests who did't pay for breakfast that were helping themselves.

We arrived early, but it was no problem to check in already. Breakfast is good. We had wireless internet in our room which was very handy. And we hired some bicycles which were in excellent condition.
-
Clean, modern, well presented with helpful staff.
Location, too far out from the hussle and bussle of Mitte where you need to stay in Berlin, should be given another name other than Mitte as not really at the centre of Mitte.
-
The location was very good. Near to all the attractions and at the same time quiet.
Should have laundry service. And no aircon. Can be stuffy in the room.
-
sep. toilets, more storage for cloth with sep. shower - location for all visitors very good
-
Very nice hotel with good design, Clean rooms and good service

The hotel was new and everything was very clean and fresh. I liked the design, furnishings, etc. Very crisp and modern. The price was good value for money for the Mitte part of town and the hotel was very centrally located for sightseeing. The staff were pleasant and there was on-site parking provided. Located on busy Leipzigerstrasse, there weren't a lot of dining options close by but there was a Lidl grocery store 2 blocks away. All in all, I would recommend the Motel One Spittelmarkt
Strangely, the bathroom door was on a spring system and so it was impossible to keep it open, which was a bit annoying. Breakfast was basic and the internet service seemed slow to me...but it costs only 7.50 euros for breakfast/internet so can't really complain about that. I did find 15 euros per day for parking to be excessive given the reasonable price of the hotel room; on the other hand, it was one of only a few hotels in Berlin that offered on-site parking. A coke and ice machine would have been nice (I'm American) but most of the clientele seemed to be German and so probably couldn't care less.

The morning breakfast was delicious and there was a great variety of both finger-food and beverages . Also the snacks on the hotel lobby were very tasteful. In addition the hotel was within walking distance from almost all sightseeings ... needless to say the u-bahn -station SPITTELMARKT was less than 1min away on foot . In conclusion , although the hotel is situated downtown next to a highway , the rooms are 100% quiet and the noise isolated .
The lack of soap in the bathroom (there was only body and hair lotion) and maybe the lack of a wardrope .
-
The helpful, smiling staff and the great design made my stay both efficient and enjoyable. I whole heartedly recommend this hotel.
While being easily connected to everything by Ubahn or a short walk, there's nothing happening in area around the hotel. It was impossible to pop out for a late drink. I will probably chose another Motel One for my next trip to Berlin.

The location - just a stone's throw from Spittelmarkt station was very convenient for exploring rest of Berlin by public transport. The hotel is within walking distance from Charlie Checkpoint. There is also a Lidl nearby. Liked the fresh croissants at breakfast and the shower in the bathroom.
Wished they had provided a bar of soap for hand washing.
